Realizou-se no dia 24 de Julho de 2014, nas instalações do Ministério da Solidariedade Social, a “Cerimónia de Condecoração de S.Exª. o Senhor Secretário de Estado da Descentralização Administrativa e Representante do Governo da República Democrática de Timor-Leste para a Missão de Apoio ao Processo Eleitoral da Guiné-Bissau, com a Ordem de Mérito, Cooperação e Desenvolvimento da República da Guiné-Bissau”.
Esta cerimónia contou com a presença das principais figuras de estado dos dois países, tendo sido proferidos discursos por S.Exª. o Senhor Primeiro Ministro da República da Guiné-Bissau, Domingos Simões Pereira e S.Exª. o Senhor Primeiro Ministro da República Democrática de Timor-Leste, Ray Kala Xanana Gusmão e S.Exª. o Senhor Presidente do Parlamento Nacional de Timor-Leste, Vicente Silva Guterres. Após a leitura do Decreto Presidencial nº. 28/2014 foi entregue por S.Exª. o Primeiro Ministro da República da Guiné-Bissau, a Ordem de Mérito a S.Exª. o Senhor Secretário de Estado da Descentralização Administrativa, Tomás do Rosário Cabral, pela sua valiosa contribuição nas acções de apoio ao processo eleitoral naquele país irmão, tendo nesta oportunidade igualmente sido apresentados agradecimentos à equipa da MAPE-GB pelo contributo dado à Missão.

On the 24th of July, at 2014, the "Decoration Ceremony of H.E. the Secretary of State for Administrative Decentralization and Representative of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste for the Mission to Support the Electoral Process of Guinea-Bissau, with the Order of Merit, Development and Cooperation of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau", took place on the premises of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
This ceremony was attended by the leading government figures of the two countries. Speeches were delivered by H.E. the Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Domingos Simões Pereira, H.E. the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Ray Kala Xanana Gusmão and H.E. the President of the National Parliament of Timor-Leste, Vicente Silva Guterres. After reading the Presidential Decree. 28/2014, H.E. the Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau attributed the Order of Merit to H.E. the Secretary of State for Administrative Decentralization, Tomás do Rosário Cabral, for his valuable contribution in the support given to the electoral process of this brotherly country, and took this opportunity to also thank the MAPE-GB team for the contribution made by the Mission
